Sales Information

We specialize in custom orders and do not charge extra for specific or unique requests. We would rather make the pot that suits your specific need of size, color and style..

The pots that you see on our site are not our current stock. They are representative of the variety of styles we are able to produce upon your request.
The price charts may be used to give a basic idea of prices for various styles and sizes of the pots. Variations in the methods of production beyond wheel thrown rounds, such as slab-built pieces, rectangles or ovals (that are combination wheel and slab-built methods) are much more labor intensive; pricing will reflect those factors.

Please contact me via email ronlangpots@comcast.net with your request for a custom container.

Shipping, Insurance and Handling - Approximately 15% of purchase price.
Special crating for large or fragile pieces and/or International Shipping will require addtional cost.

Return Policy
You may return new, unused pots, with the inventory label affixed within 10 days of delivery for a full refund. Return shipping costs and insurance are the responsibility of the purchaser. Items should be returned double boxed in original packaging.

Please Read - Our Process

Our kiln holds 90 cubic feet of work. It takes us about three months to make enough work to fill the kiln.

It is necessary to fire the kiln as full and possible in order for the heat be be distrubuted evenly thoughout the firing chamber. The kiln walls, the kiln furniture (shelf supports and shelfs) and the ware itself absorb the radiant heat from the firing chamber. The kiln is heated at approximately 150 to 200 degrees farenheit an hour by stoaking the fire box with wood. It is necessary to maintain a constant increase in temperature and a steady rate of "climb" for a successful kiln firing. The kiln is heated to 2300 degrees farenheit in order to achieve maturity of both the clay body and the glazes. It is equally important to cool the kiln slowly before opening. It is safe to open a kiln when the inside temperature is less than 200 degrees farenheit without causing the work to fracture due to thermal shock. This means that it takes about three days after the kiln is fired for it to be cool enough to unload safely, without risking damage to the ware..
