Fee: $50.00 Advanced Registration Fee for the kiln unloading is required to participate by August 15th, 2012..

Our 80 cubic foot wood-fired kiln, loaded with 100+ bonsai containers will have been fired and cooled for unloading on September 8th. Come help unload the kiln and see the results of the firing with us for the first time. Please register by August 15th. Your advance registration fee will be applied to your pottery purchases.

• Noon Lunch Break – Free to participants.

• 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM - Two Day Bonsai Pottery Workshop  (limited: 8 participants) Make your own hand-built bonsai containers and/or accent planters! Instruction and demonstrations from Ron and Sharon will guide you through the making of hand-built ceramic containers for bonsai and accent plants.  Participants will make pots of their own design using hand-building and slab methods.  Make up to 5 pieces. Arrangements to collect fired work will be made at the end of the workshop. If Packing and Shipping are requested, fees will be extra but at cost. There is an additional charge of $5.00 per pot if you would like glazes on your pots.  Get your hands dirty!  Take this opportunity to design and build your own personal bonsai and/or accent pots. Open to beginning and advanced students.

• 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM - Spruce Styling Clinic with Jim Doyle-

(limited: 8 participants)
These 25-50 year old collected Picea Engelmannii  "Engleman Spruce", with 1” to 1 1/2" trunked trees were hand selected for this workshop.  These first timed offered rare, hardy trees offer many styling opportunities.
• Spruce Styling Clinic Fee: $140.00 includes the tree of your choice and a Lang pot designed for this workshop.
